WHAT WE DO
(AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, WHO WE DO IT FOR!)
Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) were generally established after the Civil War and prior to 1964, with the exceptions of Cheyney University of Pennsylvania (1837), Lincoln University (1854), and Wilberforce University (1856). The Black United Summit International Organization (BUSI) was founded by Samuel X and Leonard Omarr Muhammad in 2012 to create a designated environment and central point for all HBCU's to unite in an effort to brainstorm, create, plan, and implement ideas, programs, and systems that ultimately are in the best interest of HBCU’s, its students/graduates, and their future!
THE MISSION
To inspire every black, college-bound student to attend a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) while creating entrepreneurship opportunities in our community.
THE VISION
To provide every black student in the world with equality of opportunity.
#HBCUsMatter
